East Feliciana Tigers (Jackson, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA), 60-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, East Feliciana upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Alexandria (Alexandria, LA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 15. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 14-9. Alexandria won 64-63 in their recent league bout against Pineville (Pineville, LA)

Next up, the Lions play the French Settlement Lions (French Settlement, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Capitol will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 73-33 league win over Springfield (Springfield, LA).
