In Friday's league match, the visiting Central Lafourche Trojans basketball team scored a good 54-45 triumph over the East St. John Wildcats.
In their next game, the Trojans meet the Thibodaux Tigers (Thibodaux, LA) in a 5A District 7 match, on Tuesday, January 17. Central Lafourche will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record.
With the defeat, East St. John moves to 7-8 on the year. The Wildcats host Belaire (Baton Rouge, LA) to meet the Bengals in a non-league match on Monday, January 16. The Bengals enter the match with a record of 3-13.
