The Cordova Wolves (Cordova, TN) basketball edged the host Southwind Jaguars (Memphis, TN), 71-68 in Friday's league bout.

With the win, Cordova upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Wolves travel to Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN) to clash with the Saints in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 21-1. Briarcrest Christian won 49-47 in their recent league bout against Christian Brothers (Memphis, TN)

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Houston Mustangs (Germantown, TN) in a 4A District 15 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Southwind will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 62-58 league win over Collierville (Collierville, TN).
