With the victory, Decatur Eisenhower improves its record to 4-15 on the campaign. The Panthers host Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL) to confront the Cyclones in a Central State Eight challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a record of 17-0.

Next up, the Senators confront the Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The J-Hawks come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 47-42 league win over Hononegah (Rockton, IL).
