The Springfield Senators basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Decatur Eisenhower Panthers to 42 in the Senators league triumph on Tuesday.

The Senators now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springfield Southeast for a Central State Eight contest on Saturday, December 3. Springfield will battle a Spartans team coming off a 71-48 league loss to Normal University (Normal, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 1-3.

The Panthers (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL). The Crimsons enter the Central State Eight contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Jacksonville was nudged by Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL), 64-29, in a league contest.
