Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Duluth Wildcats (Duluth, GA), 68-61 in a league bout.

With the victory, Peachtree Ridge upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Berkmar (Lilburn, GA) to play the Patriots in a AAAAAAA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 9-9. Berkmar won 63-51 in their recent league bout against Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Brookwood Broncos (Snellville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Duluth will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Broncos come into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 58-51 league loss to South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA).
