The Lord Botetourt Cavaliers basketball team (Daleville, VA), was overwhelmed 75-49 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA)
The Colonels now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Staunton River for a Blue Ridge battle on Tuesday, January 17. Fleming will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 77-32 league loss to Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-12.
The Cavaliers (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Eagles come into the Blue Ridge battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Franklin County was overwhelmed by William Byrd (Vinton, VA), 55-49, in a league battle.
