Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA), 65-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Fleming upgrades its record to 17-6 on the season. The Colonels travel to Northside (Roanoke, VA) to play the Vikings in a Blue Ridge bout on Wednesday, February 15. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 23-0. Northside won 66-31 in their recent league bout against William Byrd (Vinton, VA)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Lord Botetourt will attempt to upgrade on its 14-10 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 17-6 record after their 60-54 league win over Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA).
