The Franklin Parish Patriots (Winnsboro, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA), 81-42 in Friday's league test.
The Patriots (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Peabody (Alexandria, LA). The Warhorses go into the 4A District 2 test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, Peabody walloped Neville (Monroe, LA), 70-65, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Tioga for a 4A District 2 test on Tuesday, January 17. Grant will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 73-24 league loss to Peabody (Alexandria, LA). The Indians record now stands at 8-9.
