Grady Wildcats (Lenorah, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX), 69-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Grady upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Sands (Ackerly, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 1A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Sands lost 41-33 in their recent league bout against Klondike (Lamesa, TX)

Next up, the Longhorns play the Wellman-Union Wildcats (Wellman, TX) in a 1A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Loop will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record.
