The Wildcats now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sands for a 1A Region I District 8 contest on Friday, February 3. Grady will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 33-27 league win over Klondike (Lamesa, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-11.

The Longhorns (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX). The Wildcats enter the 1A Region I District 8 contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Wellman-Union was routed by Sands (Ackerly, TX), 73-12, in a league contest.
