With the victory, Jefferson West upgrades its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Atchison County (Effingham, KS) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 8-2. Atchison County won 46-38 in their recent non-league bout against Horton (Horton, KS)

Next up, the Red Hawks play the St. Marys Bears (St. Marys, KS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Hiawatha will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 58-45 non-league win over Rossville (Rossville, KS).
