In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Jefferson West Tigers (Meriden, KS) basketball squad edged the host Hiawatha Red Hawks (Hiawatha, KS), by a margin of 39-37.
The Tigers (7-11) will now prepare for their outing against Nemaha Central (Seneca, KS). The Thunder go into the non-league outing with a 7-11 record. In their last outing, Nemaha Central was tipped by Royal Valley (Hoyt, KS), 48-47, in a non-league outing.
