The Kennedale Wildcats topped the visiting Life Waxahachie Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 52-42 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) in a 4A Region II District 10 battle, on Tuesday, January 17. Kennedale will attempt to better on its 17-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the battle with a 15-10 record after their 55-29 league win over Godley (Godley, TX).

The Mustangs (23-5) will now prepare for their battle against Alvarado (Alvarado, TX). The Indians come into the 4A Region II District 10 battle with a 23-2 record. In their last battle, Alvarado prevailed over Kennedale (Kennedale, TX), 66-64, in a league battle.
