The Life Waxahachie Mustangs basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Kennedale Wildcats to 28 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 29-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alvarado for a 4A Region II District 10 contest on Friday, February 10. Life Waxahachie will battle a Indians team coming off a 51-49 league win over Godley (Godley, TX). The Indians record now stands at 27-4.

The Wildcats (24-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ferris (Ferris, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the 4A Region II District 10 contest with a 17-14 record. In their last contest, Ferris ran past Godley (Godley, TX), 63-47, in a league contest.
