The Lampasas Badgers basketball team (Lampasas, TX), was nudged 58-51 in Friday's league battle with the host Marble Falls Mustangs (Marble Falls, TX)

The Mustangs now possess a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lago Vista for a 4A Region III District 24 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Marble Falls will battle a Vikings team coming off a 54-48 league win over Jarrell (Jarrell, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 8-18.

The Badgers (11-13) will now prepare for their battle against Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX). The Gators come into the 4A Region III District 24 battle with a 10-15 record. In their last battle, Gateway College Preparatory was nudged by Burnet (Burnet, TX), 46-35, in a league battle.
