Lampasas Badgers (Lampasas, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Marble Falls Mustangs (Marble Falls, TX), 63-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lampasas upgrades its record to 13-16 on the campaign. The Badgers host Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX) to play the Gators in a 4A Region III District 24 bout on Friday, February 3. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 14-15. Gateway College Preparatory won 59-40 in their recent league bout against Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Lago Vista Vikings (Lago Vista, TX) in a 4A Region III District 24 bout, on Friday, February 3. Marble Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 11-17 season record.
