Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Louisville Wildcats (Louisville, MS) and the visiting Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS), saw Louisville's basketball squad overcome Leake Central by a tally of 46-29.

With the victory, Louisville improves its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Choctaw Central (Philadelphia, MS) to confront the Warriors in a 4A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Choctaw Central won 60-48 in their recent league challenge against Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS)

Next up, the Gators confront the Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) in a 4A Region 4 challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Leake Central will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record.
