The Lincoln Academy Eagles basketball team (Newcastle, ME), dropped 71-62 in Friday's league battle with the host Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME)
The Black Bears now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Medomak Valley for a B South battle on Tuesday, January 17. Maranacook will confront a Panthers team coming off a 56-29 non-league win over Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 10-2.
The Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record.
