The Maricopa Institute of Technology basketball team (Phoenix, AZ), dropped 55-47 in Friday's league battle with the visiting West Phoenix Eagles (Phoenix, AZ)

The Eagles now possess a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host ASU Prep for a Freelance battle on Tuesday, January 17. West Phoenix will confront a Sun Devils team coming off a 49-47 league loss to Maricopa Institute of Technology (Phoenix, AZ). The Sun Devils record now stands at 0-7.

The (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against South Pointe (Phoenix, AZ). The Griffins come into the Canyon Division 3 - Mountain battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, South Pointe dropped by Imagine Prep (Surprise, AZ), 71-36, in a league battle.
