The Marquette Crusaders tipped the host Seneca Fighting Irish basketball team by a final score of 50-46 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Crusaders face the Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats (Washburn, IL) in a Tri-County game, on Tuesday, January 17. Marquette will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 11-7 record after their 80-59 league loss to Putnam County (Granville, IL).

With the defeat, Seneca moves to 17-2 on the year. The Fighting irish travel to Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL) to face the Rockets in a Tri-County game on Friday, January 20. The Rockets enter the game with a record of 5-13.
