Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Omaha Nation Chiefs (Macy, NE) and the visiting Marty Indian Braves (Marty, SD), saw Omaha Nation's basketball squad hold off Marty Indian by a tally of 55-52.

With the victory, Omaha Nation improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Homer (Homer, NE) to confront the Knights in a C2 District 3 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-11.

Next up, the Braves confront the Santee Warriors (Santee, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Marty Indian will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
