The Marty Indian Braves (Marty, SD) basketball knocked off the visiting Omaha Nation Chiefs (Macy, NE), 60-52 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Braves (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Freeman Academy/Marion (Freeman, SD). The go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Freeman Academy/Marion went down by Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD), 48-43, in a league test.
The Chiefs now own a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Omaha Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Omaha Nation will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 58-48 non-league loss to Cornerstone Christian School (Bellevue, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 3-10.
