With the victory, West Allegheny improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Indians travel to South Fayette (McDonald, PA) to play the Lions in a WPIAL 5A 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. South Fayette lost 62-61 in their recent league challenge against North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Moon Area will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Fightin' Planets come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 71-34 league win over Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA).
