Maine High School Basketball - Thornton Academy thwarts Noble

The Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) basketball knocked off the host Noble Knights (Berwick, ME), 78-63 in Friday's league test.
The Trojans (9-1) will now prepare for their test against South Portland (South Portland, ME). The Red Riots go into the AA South test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, South Portland notched a victory over Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME), 50-33, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bonny Eagle for a AA South test on Monday, January 16. Noble will encounter a Scots squad coming off a 50-33 league loss to South Portland (South Portland, ME). The Scots record now stands at 5-5.
