Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) and the visiting Noble Knights (Berwick, ME), saw Thornton Academy's basketball squad overcome Noble by a tally of 63-54.

With the victory, Thornton Academy improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Gorham (Gorham, ME) to play the Rams in a AA South challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Gorham won 66-52 in their recent league challenge against Scarborough (Scarborough, ME)

Next up, the Knights play the Marshwood Hawks (South Berwick, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Noble will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 46-34 league win over Morse (Bath, ME).
