Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME), 62-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Oxford Hills upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Cheverus (Portland, ME) to play the Stags in a AA North bout on Friday, January 20. The Stags go into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Windham Eagles (Windham, ME) in a AA North bout, on Monday, January 16. Portland will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 57-45 league win over Bangor (Bangor, ME).
