The Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME) basketball nipped the host Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME), 48-47 in Tuesday's league test.
The Vikings (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Lewiston (Lewiston, ME). The Blue Devils go into the AA North test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Lewiston got by Hampden (Hampden, ME), 49-41, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Windham for a AA North test on Thursday, January 5. Portland will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 69-62 non-league loss to Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 3-8.
