Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Penn Cambria edges Westmont Hilltop

The Penn Cambria Panthers (Cresson, PA) basketball nipped the host Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA), 53-52 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (12-0) will now prepare for their test against Central (Martinsburg, PA). The Dragons go into the Laurel Highlands test with a 12-0 record. In their last test, Central got by Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA), 70-59, in a league test.

The Hilltoppers now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Somerset for a Laurel Highlands test on Wednesday, January 18. Westmont Hilltop will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 63-35 league loss to Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-9.
