In Friday's league match, the visiting Ridgeview Mustangs basketball team scored a tight 45-42 triumph over the Tri-Valley Vikings.
In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Tremont Turks (Tremont, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 14. Ridgeview will attempt to better on its 5-15 season record. The Turks enter the match with a 12-6 record after their 77-47 league win over Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL).
With the defeat, Tri-Valley moves to 8-11 on the year. The Vikings travel to Lexington (Lexington, IL) to meet the Minutemen in a Heart of Illinois match on Friday, January 27. The Minutemen enter the match with a record of 17-4.
