The South Point Red Raiders basketball team (Belmont, NC), was nudged 50-44 in Friday's league battle with the host Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC)

The Greenwave now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Huss for a 3A Conference 50 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Ashbrook will confront a Huskies team coming off a 74-30 league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 9-5.

The Red Raiders now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they host North Gaston for a 3A Conference 50 outing on Tuesday, January 17. South Point will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 74-30 league loss to Huss (Gastonia, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-15.
