North Carolina High School Basketball - South Point thwarted by Ashbrook

February 7, 2023: Belmont, NC 28012

The South Point Red Raiders basketball team (Belmont, NC), was toppled 45-34 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC)

The Greenwave now possess a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huss for a 3A Conference 50 battle on Friday, February 10. Ashbrook will confront a Huskies team coming off a 60-20 league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 16-6.

The Red Raiders (12-11) will now prepare for their battle against North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Wildcats come into the 3A Conference 50 battle with a 1-22 record. In their last battle, North Gaston was toppled by Huss (Gastonia, NC), 60-20, in a league battle.
