Nebraska High School Basketball - Chambers/Wheeler Central overwhelmed by Boyd County

The Boyd County Spartans basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades to 22 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santee for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16.

The Renegades (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary's (O'Neill, NE). The Cardinals come into the D2 District 5 contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, St. Mary's triumphed over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NE), 60-29, in a non-league contest.
