Texas High School Basketball - El Paso overwhelmed by Burges

The El Paso Tigers basketball team (El Paso, TX), was routed 61-12 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Burges Mustangs (El Paso, TX)

The Mustangs now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andress for a 5A Region I District 1 battle on Tuesday, January 17.

The Tigers (14-9) will now prepare for their battle against Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Huskies come into the 5A Region I District 1 battle with a 21-5 record. In their last battle, Chapin trounced Canutillo (Canutillo, TX), 59-28, in a league battle.
