Texas High School Basketball - Burges overwhelms El Paso

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Burges Mustangs (El Paso, TX) and the visiting El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX), saw Burges's basketball squad wallop El Paso by a tally of 48-20.

With the victory, Burges improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Jefferson (El Paso, TX) to confront the Silver Foxes in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Silver Foxes come into the challenge with a record of 1-9.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Canutillo Eagles (Canutillo, TX) in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. El Paso will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record.
