California High School Basketball - Carlmont thwarted by Menlo-Atherton

The Carlmont Scots basketball team (Belmont, CA), was toppled 53-37 in Friday's league battle with the host Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA)

The Bears now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastside College Prep for a non-league battle on Monday, January 16. Menlo-Atherton will confront a Panthers team coming off a 30-18 non-league loss to University Prep Academy (San Jose, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-6.

The Scots (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Woodside (Woodside, CA). The Wildcats come into the Peninsula - South contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Woodside was defeated by Sequoia (Redwood City, CA), 35-34, in a league contest.
