California High School Basketball - Menlo-Atherton holds off Carlmont

February 3, 2023: Belmont, CA 94002

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) and the host Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA), saw Menlo-Atherton's basketball squad hold off Carlmont by a tally of 51-46.

With the victory, Menlo-Atherton improves its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Bears host Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA) to confront the FIGHTING KNIGHTS in a Peninsula - South challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The FIGHTING KNIGHTS come into the challenge with a record of 18-3. Hillsdale won 58-17 in their recent league challenge against Capuchino (San Bruno, CA)

Next up, the Scots confront the Capuchino Mustangs (San Bruno, CA) in a Peninsula - South challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Carlmont will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 58-17 league loss to Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA).
