Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA) and the visiting Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA), saw Central Columbia's basketball squad wallop Shamokin Area by a tally of 46-15.

With the victory, Central Columbia improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Midd-West (Middleburg, PA) to play the Mustangs in a Heartland III challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 1-8.

Next up, the Indians play the Troy Trojans (Troy, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Shamokin Area will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 40-22 league loss to Towanda (Towanda, PA).
