In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Central Columbia Bluejays basketball team scored a good 46-35 triumph over the Shamokin Area Indians.
In their next game, the Bluejays meet the Midd-West Mustangs (Middleburg, PA) in a Heartland III match, on Saturday, February 4. Central Columbia will attempt to move on its 17-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 1-14 record after their 56-24 non-league loss to Neumann Regional Academy (Williamsport, PA).
With the defeat, Shamokin Area moves to 14-5 on the year. The Indians travel to Montoursville (Montoursville, PA) to meet the Warriors in a Heartland II match on Saturday, February 4. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 9-9. Montoursville lost 38-33 in their recent league match against Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA)
