In Friday's league match, the visiting Connally Cadets basketball team scored a decisive 46-22 triumph over the Gatesville Hornets.
In their next game, the Cadets meet the La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 match, on Tuesday, January 17. Connally will attempt to better on its 19-7 season record.
