The Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) basketball felled the host Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA), 47-36 in Friday's league test.
The Bulldogs (12-1) will now prepare for their test against LaFayette (LaFayette, GA). The Ramblers go into the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, LaFayette went down by Ridgeland (Rossville, GA), 65-50, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they travel to Dade County for a A D1 Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 17. Coosa will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 36-34 non-league win over Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-13.
