Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA), 49-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Trion upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Chattooga (Summerville, GA) to play the Indians in a A D1 Region 7 bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Eagles play the Cedar Bluff Tigers (Cedar Bluff, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Coosa will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
