The East Wake Academy Eagles basketball team (Zebulon, NC), dropped 46-37 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC)

The Patriots now possess a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Research Triangle for a 1A/2A Conference 12 battle on Tuesday, January 17.

The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC). The Unicorns come into the 1A/2A Conference 12 battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, NCSSM: Durham dropped by Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC), 52-27, in a league battle.
