Texas High School Basketball - Rising Star ripped by Eula

The Eula Pirates basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Rising Star Wildcats to 17 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moran for a 1A Region II District 13 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Eula will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-9 league loss to May (May, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-14.
The Wildcats (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Baird (Baird, TX). The Bears enter the 1A Region II District 13 contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Baird was routed by Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX), 90-2, in a league contest.
