In Saturday's league match, the host Eula Pirates basketball team scored a decisive 53-20 triumph over the Rising Star Wildcats.
In their next game, the Pirates meet the May Tigers (May, TX) in a 1A Region II District 13 match, on Tuesday, February 7. Eula will attempt to better on its 23-9 season record.
With the defeat, Rising Star moves to 14-10 on the year.
