Michigan High School Basketball - Kenowa Hills knocked off by Wayland

The Wayland Wildcats basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Kenowa Hills Knights to 31 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Catholic Central for a Ottawa-Kent - Blue contest on Tuesday, January 17. Wayland will meet a Cougars team coming off a 66-43 non-league win over Byron Center (Byron Center, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 3-4.
The Knights (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against South Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Sailors enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, South Christian ran past Thornapple Kellogg (Middleville, MI), 54-29, in a league contest.
