Georgia High School Basketball - Shiloh knocked off by Lanier

The Lanier Longhorns basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Shiloh Generals to 45 in the Longhorns league triumph on Friday.
The Longhorns now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gainesville for a AAAAAA Region 8 contest on Saturday, January 14. Lanier will battle a Red Elephants team coming off a 79-59 league loss to North Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Red Elephants record now stands at 13-1.
The Generals (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Panthers enter the AAAAAA Region 8 contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Jackson County was defeated by Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA), 50-20, in a league contest.
