California High School Basketball - West Park nudges Nevada Union

January 13, 2023: Roseville, CA 95747

West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 44-40 in a league bout.

With the win, West Park upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA) to clash with the Bruins in a Foothill Valley bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 18-2. Ponderosa won 61-36 in their recent league bout against Oakmont (Roseville, CA)

Next up, the Miners clash with the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) in a Foothill Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Nevada Union will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Hillmen go into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 66-34 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, CA).
