California High School Basketball - West Park nips Nevada Union

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) and the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), witnessed West Park's basketball squad nip Nevada Union by a margin of 44-41.

The Panthers (13-10) will now prepare for their test against Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Bruins go into the Foothill Valley test with a 23-2 record. In their last test, Ponderosa got by Oakmont (Roseville, CA), 74-37, in a league test.

The Miners now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Placer for a Foothill Valley test on Thursday, February 2. Nevada Union will encounter a Hillmen squad coming off a 67-26 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 10-14.
