In Friday's league outing, the North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Eugene Axe (Eugene, OR), by a count of 49-19.
The Black Tornado (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Roseburg (Roseburg, OR). The Indians go into the 6A Southwest outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Roseburg was crushed by South Medford (Medford, OR), 79-14, in a league outing.
The Axe now hold a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Willamette for a 6A Southwest outing on Tuesday, January 17. South Eugene will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 38-30 league win over Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR). The Wolverines record now stands at 10-3.
